As partner in Hennick Herman, LLP, Darryl Hennick is passionate about all aspects of business. In addition to providing a full range of corporate and personal accounting services, Darryl provides business valuations, consults on shareholder agreements and buyouts, arranges bank financing, negotiates purchases and sales of business, and represents his clients at arbitrations.
The unique combination of passion for business and his 30 years’ experience has allowed Darryl to develop as a well-rounded expert on owner-operated businesses in the retail, manufacturing, distribution and consulting sectors. Some of Darryl’s clients also include sports celebrities such as football athletes and sportscasters.
One of his primary areas of focus is personal and corporate tax planning. Many of his clients are understandably concerned about their tax loads. Darryl helps them to maximize all of the business opportunities available to them to lower taxes.
Darryl also works with many not-for-profit organizations such as charitable organizations and condominium corporations. He has developed a rich and in-depth understanding of their unique needs, including sourcing and securing government funding and tailoring their accounting systems for their special requirements.

Darryl graduated from the University of Toronto, and served as partner in two large to mid-size accounting firms before he and Hugh Herman established Hennick Herman LLP in 2002. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
Darryl is a committed family man who is actively involved in the lives of his three children. He participates in a weekly round of golf and plays hockey two times a week. He also enjoys biking on the trails in Collingwood.
